A Medical Aspirator Based on the Ranque–Hilsch Vortex Effect

The possibility of using the vortex effect in aspirators, a category of medical equipment, was studied. A block diagram of the device created is presented, along with results from trial experiments. The possibility of increasing the technological efficiency of the device by automating the process of selecting and maintaining the required pressure, as well as optimizing the performance of the Ranque–Hilsch vortex tube used, is demonstrated.
