Zusammenfassung:Microwave thermometry provides noninvasive detection of thermal inhomogeneity in biological tissues, early diagnosis of oncological diseases, and correction of treatment based on changes in the parameters of the body’s electromagnetic radiation. We present an analytical review of developments in medical radiometers. Challenges hindering the development of radiometry are identified, as are proposed solutions.
