Zusammenfassung:Impedance plethysmography was shown to be applicable for assessment of the characteristics of the intraosseous circulation. Dogs underwent osteosynthesis of the lower leg bones with an Ilizarov apparatus. The dependence of the intraosseous hemodynamics on the position of the wires was investigated. It was shown that transosseous fixation of the shin bones using the Ilizarov method for 35 days led to a decrease in the blood flow rate in the tibia as a result of arterial dilation. The greatest change occurred during the early post-operative period (seven days), when volume pulsatile blood filling in the medullary cavity decreased by more than 80% (p = 0.01) of the normal level. Vascular hypotension was more pronounced when application of the fixators to the soft tissues of the anterolateral part of the leg was less traumatic.
