Zusammenfassung: | Effects of COVID-19 is evident. An SEIR model was proposed to understand the transmission of COVID-19 in Baguio City. The positivity and boundedness of solutions, and the local stability of the equilibrium points were explored in this study and were proven to show realism in the model. Then, the basic reproduction number, R0, was estimated to calculate the optimal vaccination coverage in the said city while the effective reproduction number in presence of vaccines, Rv, was approximated to show the effectiveness of vaccines in mitigating the disease. |
