Investigating the importance of materials in organic devices

Materials incorporated in any device have an important role in deciding device performance. It is even more true for organic devices wherein concept of doping doesn’t work and the complete device is fabricated by a series of layers. Therefore, the focus of the present research article is to provide a brief yet comprehensive review highlighting the importance of different materials used in the organic devices. Paper investigates requirement s of different layers used in the organic devices and thereafter, proposes the important aspects that should be kept in mind while selecting material for a particular layer.
