Zusammenfassung:The re-emergence of the COVID-19 virus has had a significant impact on the educational system. In order to maintain its high standard, education needs to evolve to reflect the new world order, and this is especially true of secondary education. As a component of learning the English language, students need to have a greater emphasis placed on being taught how to grasp the reading materials they are given. The flipped classroom model is gaining popularity in this pandemic era, however the efficacy of its implementation in secondary education is being called into doubt due to the fact that it is an entirely novel instructional approach specifically in the teaching and learning English in Islamic secondary school. The purpose of this study was to conduct a quantitative investigation of the impact that flipping the classroom has on the level of reading comprehension achieved by senior high school students in Indonesia. This study applied quasi experimental design. There were 56 students participating in this study. The study's findings demonstrated an increase in students' reading comprehension scores after the students were taught by using flipped reading classroom. The results suggested that the Flipped Reading Comprehension Classroom has a considerable impact on the accomplishment of Islamic secondary school students, and it is recommended that it be applied in ELT classes due to its numerous advantages.
