Zusammenfassung:The incorporation of dye in crystals is attracted researchers for its applications in the field of solid state lasers. Dyes added to binary glycine zincoxide (GZO)semiorganic crystals are grown by slow evaporation technique. The changes in the structural, vibrational and optical properties are observed. The sharp peaks in the XRD pattern confirm the crystalline nature of the sample. The Vibrationaland electronic properties of the crystal were analysed by using FTIR, Micro Raman and UV –Vis spectrum. The influences of additives in the growth atmosphere have enhanced the crystal quality as well as their properties.
