Zusammenfassung: | The development of liveable and fulfilling human habitats in Space is one of the current preoccupations of space architects. Their designs should be highly adaptable, reconfigurable and able to securely accommodate various functional requirements as well as multiple scales of inhabitants and operations. Multidisciplinary design practice Hassell has developed a Lunar Habitat Framework project for the European Space Agency with just these goals. Architect and Head of Design Xavier De Kestelier, architectural designer and space architect Levent Ozruh and Computational Design Lead Jonathan Irawan describe Hassell's work in this area. |
