RENOVACIÓN PERONISTA Y JUEGOS DE ESCALA EN LA RECONSTRUCCIÓN DEMOCRÁTICA ARGENTINA (1983-1991). APORTES EN CLAVE SUBNACIONAL

The Peronist Renovation was the expression of a political reconfiguration of Peronism in the 1980s. [...]a few years ago, this experience was analyzed around dyadic pairs, like authoritarianism/democracy, orthodoxy/renewal, union branch/political branch, quarrel for spaces/struggle for the idea. New research anchored in subnational spaces has questioned the views focused on the national scale, showing the heterogeneity of the renovating experience. The main objective of this paper is to articulate existing research in a subnational perspective around three nodal axes: party organization, political elites, and leadership, especially through the promotion of Carlos Menem to the presidency of the Republic. Al colocar el foco en las transformaciones organizativas en territorios situados (Giddens, 1995), es evidente que las renovaciones en las provincias no se vivieron en paralelo ni en espejo respecto de Capital Federal y la provincia de Buenos Aires, que antecedieron a la adoptada por los órganos partidarios nacionales y la sustentaron.
