Zusammenfassung:An approach to the design justification of turbine blocks with steel-lined reinforced concrete spiral case of high-head hydraulic power plants is proposed. The approach is based on domestic and foreign experience in numerical and experimental studies of such structures. The approach is demonstrated by analyzing the stress-strain state of the turbine blocks of the Rogun HPP. Recommendations on further improvement of the approach are formulated.
