Zusammenfassung: | This study aims to synthesis and characterization of chitosan-ZnO composites with different mass ratio of Chitosan-ZnO = 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (w/w %). The chitosan was synthesized from shrimp shell waste and obtained a yield of 52 w/w % the degree of deacetylation was 70.85 %. The XRD characterization obtained the crystal size and the angle with the highest intensity at 1:3 chitosan-ZnO. The SEM characterization showed the presence of ZnO on the surface of the chitosan and Zn element data in the EDX results. The UV-Vis DRS characterization showed the bandgap value of chitosan-ZnO 1:3 was 3.2 eV. |
