Zusammenfassung:The task was set to obtain a composite material based on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and carboxylated carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and evaluate its characteristics. Multiwalled CNTs with different concentrations of carboxyl groups were obtained in this work. Conditions that ensured minimal disruption of the carbon skeleton were selected. Composite material samples with a uniform distribution of modified CNTs in the polymer matrix were obtained; in particular, this led to a decrease in flammability.
