Zusammenfassung:In this study, the cyclic trimer of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene (HCCP) was used as the starting material for the thermal ring opening polymerization (T-ROP) method, which was followed by a macromolecular substitution reaction to create three Polyphosphazene derivatives with aromatic side groups. FTIR, 1HNMR, 31PNMR, DSC, elemental analysis, and gel permeation chromatography were used to characterise the synthesised polymer (GPC). The hydrolytic breakdown using shaker bath was studied at various pH at 37 °C for 42 days. Significant degradation products were noticed at different pH values. Studies on degradation revealed that synthetic polymers offer a wide range of potential uses in the biological field.
