Zusammenfassung: | This research tries to resolve whether the predictive value of guidance in the 2nd year of baccalaureate is given by the multicultural aspect, the educational quality of the centre, the gender of the students and the influences of the socio-academic variables of the parents on their children. Vocational disorientation, pupils dropping out when they reach higher education, lack of information in the choice of academic career, are becoming more and more pressing. The social importance of the issue lies in the key role played by the quality of educational guidance in this transition, especially in multicultural contexts. The sample consisted of 437 students from different secondary schools in the Autonomous City of Melilla. The linear multiple regression model technique was used. The analyses show that the model has a goodness of fit coefficient of R2 corrected: 0.368 with p < 0.05. The results show that the multicultural aspect is the most important predictive variable, followed by the quality of the school's teaching and the socio-academic influence of the parents, excluding the gender variable in the predictive model. |
