Zusammenfassung:Interstitial lung disease (ILD) is a serious complication of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and is associated with high morbidity and mortality for affected patients. Wingless Integration 5a (Wnt5a) protein signaling plays a significant role in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), (as its role in inflammation and hypertrophic fibroblast, also significant role in pulmonary fibrosis). Wnt5a protein may have a role in RA-interstitial lung disease (ILD).We investigated the role of serum wnt5a protein level in RA patients with ILD, its relation to disease activity and the severity of ILD.
