Zusammenfassung:The catenary temperature change during train movement is analyzed. The simulation is carried out on the basis of spreadsheets using heat-balance equations with allowance for the load-current distribution of moving electric rolling stock and the operation of the catenary preventive heating system. A control algorithm for voltage-booster devices, which are used for preventive heating of catenary systems without traffic restrictions, is described.
