Zusammenfassung: | Assessment of fetal weight in utero helps in an improved obstetric management of high-risk pregnancies as accurate estimation of fetal weight helps in decision making of the time and the route of delivery in advance. It is of utmost importance to the obstetricians so that they can anticipate the complications and plan preventive measures. With this background, the present study is intended to assess the fetal weight in term pregnancies using Johnson’s formula, which is a clinical method and by Ultrasound using Hadlocks formula, followed by comparative evaluation of these methods with actual birth weight of babies after delivery |
