Zusammenfassung: | A crucial component of the economies of numerous nations, notably those of the Arab world. Even though the fisheries sector is a crucial pillar of food security, this is the first study of its type to examine the connections in the value chain of the primary and secondary fish in Iraq. The oil derived from fish tissues is known as fish oil. Due to the omega-3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and decosahexaenoic acid (DHA), precursors to anti-inflammatory eicosanoids, it is recommended for a healthy diet. Fish oils must be supplied in minute doses for best health benefits, cellular metabolism, and normal physiological functions. The purpose of the study was to evaluate several vital factors, including cholesterol, omega-3, and triglycerides in Mesopotamichthys sharpeyi categorized as endangered in Iraqi marshlands and is included on the red list of endangered species. In the Musayyib District of Babil City, 10 sexually mature wild Binni (2-3 g of fin tissue) were collected from the Shatt Al Hilla and the Euphrates River. The estuaries of the wetland were sampled on 15-12-15-1/2021, when the fish were ready to spawn. With the assistance of local fishermen, morphometric analyses and genetic variance estimates are conducted. The results showed decline in triglycerides 6.3mg/dl, Omega-3 1.78mg/dl, cholesterol content 39.63mg/dl at (P< 0.05) demonstrated between the studied group, that confirms water shortage, garbage, stress, and low nutrition in river play an important role in decrease fish meet content. |
