Zusammenfassung: | Introduction: women who suffer a myocardial infarction present with more atypical symptoms than men. Chest pain remains an important common symptom of CAD. Purpose: To assess the diagnostic value of non-acute chest pain characteristics for CAD in women and men. Methods: A retrospective observational study was conducted to collect data from individual patients in primary care clinics. Results: Sex-specific models showed better performance in females (ABC 0.89, 95 % CI 0.81 to 0.96).
