Zusammenfassung: | Industry 4.0 technologies are transforming global business. This disruptive technology-driven transformation impacts company operations and procedures. This shift particularly affects the high-interaction manufacturing sector. These technologies developed in nations with ageing populations and decreasing workforces, such as Germany’s Industries 4.0 and the US’s Smart Factory. Most initiatives seek to recover industrial supremacy by lowering human participation and boosting technology reliance. Samarth Bharat 4.0 is India’s Industry 4.0 brand. Local labour markets and work culture must be addressed while making this shift. Local culture influences manufacturing shop floor work culture. This article analyses local cultural elements and industry 4.0 adoption tactics. In this work, the researcher uses a sample t-test to investigate the association between local cultural characteristics and industry 4.0 in Pune. Strong organizational hierarchy, power disparity between managers and employees, patriarchal social structure, and organizational culture all impacted Industry 4.0 adoption in the manufacturing sector. |
