Zusammenfassung:The study's objectives were to evaluate women's knowledge of breast cancer and screening practises as well as their awareness level of the risk factors for breast cancer among women between the ages 18 and 65. METHODOLOGY: 505 women between the ages of 18 and 65 participated in a cross-sectional survey .Software called SPSS was used to examine the data. ANOVA was one tool used to assess the level of screening practise knowledge. RESULTS: The relationship between risk factors and screening practices was statistically significant. The age group of 21 to 30 years had an increase in the mean knowledge score about screening procedures and risk factors, while the age group of less than 20 years had seen a decrease.CONCLUSION: Overall, more than 50% of the participants who took part in the study had well developed knowledge. We have distributed pamphlets on regional and common languages among the participants to create awareness.
