Zusammenfassung: | Background: Dental implants have become a prominent solution for oral rehabilitation, but understanding their success and complication rates is crucial for optimal clinical outcomes. Methods: A retrospective analysis of oral surgery cases involving dental implants was conducted. Data included patient demographics, implant specifications, surgical techniques, and complications. Implant success was evaluated through osseointegration and stability, while complications were categorized into biological, mechanical, and aesthetic issues. Results: Observations show that younger patients and anterior implants had a better success rate than posterior implants. Compared to two-stage procedures, rapid loading techniques have greater success rates and slightly lower complication rates. Conclusion: This study provides insights into implant success and complication rates, highlighting the importance of osseointegration, patient age, implant location, and surgical technique. These findings underscore the need for personalized treatment planning, standardized protocols, and continued research to enhance the success and longevity of dental implant procedures. |
