Zusammenfassung:Accountability is one of the basic principles of good governance. One of the pressing sectors for implementing the principle of public accountability is the government procurement of goods/services. One of the persons in charge and implementer of the auction of goods and services is the Commitment Making Officer (PPK). This study aims to describe and analyze the Responsiveness of Commitment Making Officials (PPK) in the auction of goods and services for Hospital Development in South Sulawesi Province. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation studies. Data processing and analysis techniques were carried out in three stages: data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The informants in this study were the Head of the South Sulawesi Provincial Health Office, the Pokja Team (Working Group Tasks) for project auctions at the South Sulawesi Provincial Health Office, the commitment making officer for the Batua Health Center in Makassar City, the Commitment Making Officer for the Rehabilitation of the Community Health Center in Bone Regency, PPK at the International Hospital in Takalar Regency. , Commitment Making Officer for Tenriawaru Regional Hospital, Bone Regency, PPK Fatimah Hospital, Commitment Making Officer for Nene Mallomo Regional General Hospital, Sidrap Regency, Commitment Making Officer for H.A. Sulthan Regional General Hospital Dg Radja, Bulukumba Regency, Commitment Making Officer for Sheikh Regional General Hospital Yusuf, Gowa district, procurement agent, self-managed organizer, Manager of LPSE (Electronic Procurement Service) South Sulawesi Province, Non-Governmental Organizations and entrepreneurs. This study indicates that the responsiveness of Commitment Making Officials in carrying out auctions of goods and services is not optimal. This is because, firstly, it has provided for the needs of the community, both entrepreneurs participating in the auction and the community to be involved in the auction of goods and services for the construction of hospitals/health centres, either to participate in the auction process or to be involved in supervising. In addition, the auction process is also carried out openly and can be accessed online, and the auction is carried out based on standard operating procedures (SOP) and presidential regulations regarding auctions of goods and services. Second, Commitment Making Officers have not provided quality services because the
