Zusammenfassung:Microchannel heat sinks has established itself as most effective thermal management systems for large heat concentrations in constrained smaller space. Many researchers have paid their attention towards the enhancement of thermo-hydraulic performance of microchannel. The ability of removing enormous heat flux from the constrained smaller space fits for the thermal management system for enormous heat generating modern miniaturized professional systems. This paper presents thorough review of available previous studies on single-phase microchannel. The objectives of the present study are to review current understandings of single-phase fluid flow in microchannel, analyse the parameters effecting the performance of microchannel, and, future research developments needed for next level microchannel applications.
