Zusammenfassung:Over the past few years, the consumption of fast food has dramatically increased in India. A student's college years are when they enhance their social interactions with classmates their own age and form new eating habits. The purpose of the current study was to evaluate the impact of educational intervention on undergraduate students' understanding of the negative effects of junk food consumption. An experimental strategy was used to recruit and study a sample of 50 undergraduate students who were enrolled in particular undergraduate colleges. The findings indicate that the mean knowledge score after the exam (18.36 + 2.22; pre-test: 9.38 + 1.79); was higher. At the 0.05 level of significance, the estimated t' value (22.33) was higher than the table value (1.67). The study showed that the educational intervention was successful in raising undergraduate students' awareness of the negative effects of junk food consumption. College students' knowledge and awareness can be effectively increased through educational initiatives like teaching programmes.
