Zusammenfassung:Bioadhesives Progress in biotechnology, materials science, nanotechnology and their interdisciplinary integration has created unprecedented opportunities in designing bioadhesives for wound healing. Notably, remarkable advances have been made in designing antimicrobial bioadhesives through incorporating antimicrobial agents, nanocomponents, and polymers. In article number 2300840, Nasim Annabi, Nureddin Ashammakhi, and co‐workers describe how these breakthroughs promise safer and more efficient wound treatment compared to traditional methods for clinical translation and discuss how the incorporation of electroactive materials and biosensing systems into antimicrobial bioadhesives is poised to merge the realms of the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence, giving rise to a new era in wound management.
