Zusammenfassung:In the solution combustion method, CuO bud shaped nano rods was synthesized using a mixture of citric acid and glycine as a fuel. The crystalinity, morphology, chemical analysis and electrical properties of nano rods were investigated by powder-X-ray diffraction, Scanning electron microscopy, Energy Dispersive X-ray technique and Wayne Kerr precision impedance analyzer 6500B. The effect of temperature variance on the conductivity of CuO nano rods exhibited an exponential increase from100 C -160 C. Hybrid composites (CuO-PANI) were prepared with the addition of different percentage of CuO nano rods to PANI. Dielectric constant and dielectric loss of hybrid composites (HC) are reduced with increasing the weight percentage of CuO nano buds due to p-type semiconductor behavior, unmodified surface and size of conducting CuO nano rods. Dielectric properties of HC lowered down with respect to increase in frequency suggests that this hybrid composite may be utilized as a conductor in the manufacture of devices used at high frequencies.
