Zusammenfassung:Digitalization of business processes is seen as the way forward for firms to stay competitive, efficient, and sustainable, these phenomena gain more steam under the influence of the pandemic. However, it is also quick for business owners to realize that technology can be a two-edge sword with the sharp increase of frequency and severity of cybersecurity incident. Consequently, the area of cybersecurity management practices has been identified as one key area that can help business owners reap the fruit of technology safely. Despite this, it is observed that some business owners or managers are still not convince of the importance of cybersecurity management practices. This paper proposes a framework through the theoretical lens of Resource Based View and Dynamic Capability View to study the impact of cybersecurity management practices on business performance, providing a platform to more in-depth study on the matter for practical and academic purpose.
