Zusammenfassung: | The emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic has made many changes to people’s lifestyles, and adjustments are needed to adapt. One way to minimize virus transmission is social distancing with the application of Work from Home (WFH). Home offices are becoming one of the new trends in the future and a way out to meet all the needs of residents during the COVID-19 pandemic. This project focuses on the architect’s home office, one of the jobs with a long but flexible working time. The benefit of this research is that it can apply an architect’s home office design that can meet health and safety standards against COVID-19 and meet the comfort needs of building users. The location of the building site is in Cideng, Gambir District, Central Jakarta. The research method used is designed by research which was carried out with the application of the Scandinavian design theme, the determination of space zoning, design application as well as the application of materials, circulation, layout, and ventilation based on a comparison of the existing COVID-19 theories. The results show that it is possible to design an architect’s home office that can meet the health, safety, and comfort standards of residents during the COVID-19 pandemic. |
