Zusammenfassung: | In this paper, a new four parameter model for life time datasets is introduced. The proposed distribution is termed "Gompertz Chen distribution". Some mathematical properties of the new distribution are derived such as the expansion of the probability density, quantile function, Renyi entropy, moment generating function and order statistics. The flexibility of the proposed distribution was assessed using engineering data. For real-life dataset, the proposed Gompertz Chen distribution can be used as an alternative to the well-known competitive distributions available in the literature. |
