Zusammenfassung:The main role of drainage is to drain, dispose, or drain water. Flooding is the amount of water discharge that exceeds a certain water drainage capacity, as well as the overflow of water flow in riverbeds and channels so that water overflows from the left and right of the river embankments and channels. Basically, drainage is a water structure that plays a role in removing the excess water in an area of land, so that land can be used optimally, which if this function is not fulfilled, flooding will occur. The objectives of this research are: (1) To determine the volume of flooding that occurred in Joyotakan Village, Surakarta City. (2) The right effort to overcome flood inundation is to calculate and analyze the drainage channel discharge in the Q5, Q10, Q25 and Q50 return rains in Joyotakan Village, Surakarta City. The method used in data processing uses Rational manual calculations to calculate flood discharge, as well as the manning formula for channel velocity. After trying to calculate the flood discharge for the return period, the inundation can be completed by evaluating the capacity of the existing drainage channel using Hec Ras Software. In this way, the settlement of inundation will be obtained by repairing or rehabilitating damaged channels and increasing the dimensions of the channel in order to speed up the drainage of inundation.
