Zusammenfassung:Due to the limitations of the hospital’s facilities, such as beds and other equipment that are constantly required to monitor the vitals, blood pressure, heartbeat rate, red blood cell (RBC) count, temperature, and other health-related data, having patients in the hospital after critical treatment is quite challenging and complicated during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, in a pandemic like COVID-19, monitoring patients at home and uploading data about their medical condition to the hospital’s system is necessary. We propose a home-monitoring system that incorporates a wearable device capable of gathering important health-related data relevant to conditions such as respiratory attacks, heart attacks, strokes, and so on. The device can also send the recorded data to a mobile app that can detect critical conditions in patients based on the recorded health data. In the event of an emergency, the app can also send out advance warnings and contact local hospitals or the patient’s primary care physician. As a result, in addition to the home monitoring system, the system is capable of successfully executing other emergency functions such as detecting impending danger to patients, contacting doctors or hospitals in the event of an emergency, and offering guidance on necessary guidelines or first aid for treating the emergency condition. The system can also be used by patients’ families to monitor their important health issues, but only physicians can make treatment decisions if the patient is experiencing severe complications or problems.
