Zusammenfassung:Inter Service Organizations, manned by Civilian and Military personnel, serve Defence forces in fields common to Army, Navy and Air Force. This research delved into the complex and unexplored area of job satisfaction of civilian personnel in Inter Service Organizations. The study was conducted in Military Engineer Services (MES), one of the Inter Service Organizations in India. Data analysis of 850 completed questionnaires has thrown light on job satisfaction and demographic factors such as Cadre/ group, Gender, Age, Length of service /experience and Nature of work. Findings would be greatly beneficial to improve job satisfaction and productivity of organizations.
