In their Research Article (e202308803), Leticia González et al. show that in [Ru(bpy)3]2+, the pathway governed by the lowest 3MC‐trans excited state triplet minimum leads astray. Instead, through the concept of rate‐determining states and an extended kinetic model that takes all the different Jahn–Teller isomers into account, excellent agreement with the experiment is attained. |
