Our times are primarily characterized by rapid changes that create uncertainty, changes that are expressed in a variety of areas, including technology, the labour market, and the family structure. Globally, from the beginning of the 1990s there have been significant reforms in the training of teachers with the goal of improving the quality of the teachers and consequently the quality of the students. This article explores the literature focused on the role and the importance of the pedagogical instructor, a vital entity in the development of a good future teacher, as well as changes in education.
