Zusammenfassung:Corroles at a looking glass: The inner‐core N‐methylation of a corrole can afford two monoalkylated regioisomers that are intrinsically chiral. The enantiomeric pairs have been separated by chromatography, and their absolute configuration assigned. The N‐alkylation strongly influences the coordination chemistry of the corrole, making possible the preparation of divalent ion complexes, such as PdII. The photophysical properties of N‐alkylcorroles are promising for future applications both as photosensitizers and catalysts. More information can be found in the Research Article by R.
