Zusammenfassung:The main aim of our research is to design the dedicated hydraulic power pack for the wiper system in sendzimir mill. The sendzimir mill is the mother unit of CRM (cold rolling mill) which is used to roll the metal sheets (stainless steel). The wiper system is used to wipe out the excess coolants from the strips. If wiping is not done efficiently it will be hazardous to the environment and to workers when subjected to annealing. The formation of a thin coolant layer on cold-rolled metal sheets leads to an improper metal finish with oil patches. So, each drop of coolant should be wiped out before the coiling of cold-rolled strips. The present hydraulic system for the wiper was installed in the auxiliary hydraulic unit of the sendzimir mill. Since the entire rolling system of the sendzimir mill is carried out using the auxiliary hydraulic unit there will be pressure drops in the pumps which lead to poor performance of the wiping system. Hence in order to increase the performance of the wiper system a new dedicated hydraulic circuit is designed.
