Zusammenfassung:—The effect of alloying elements on the structure and hardness of experimental pseudo-β titanium-based alloys in the as-cast state, after multidirectional forging at 900°C, and subsequent quenching from temperatures corresponding to the β and (α + β) fields and aging at 500°C for 1 to 10 h is studied. The Ti–6Al–4V–1Mo–1Cr–3.5Fe–2Sn–2Zr–0.15C alloy subjected to aging at 500°C for 6 h after preliminarily quenching from the (α + β) field is found to have the maximum hardness (53.5 HRC ).
