Distressed Communities: A Trauma-Healing Groups Model Centered on God's Word

Trauma often affects not just individuals but entire communities. Trauma-healing groups of 4-6 people can offer not only a forum for people to share and process what has happened, but also lead to openness to the gospel and the development o f healthy communities which, in turn, can reach out and assist other communities in healing and growing healthy. This article describes one trauma-healing model and presents some individual stories of these groups 'impact.
