The reaction is carried out under acid catalyst‐ and oxidant‐free conditions, so that a variety of synthetically useful nitrogen heterocyclic derivatives can be obtained. More meaningfully, a gram‐scale synthetic approach was employed to demonstrate the scale‐up applicability of this transformation. |
