Zusammenfassung: | The hydrodeoxygenation (HDO) of various oxygen‐containing aromatic plastic wastes (PC, PET, PBT, and PPO) to cycloalkanes as liquid organic hydrogen carriers (LOHCs) is reported by Sibao Liu, Guozhu Liu et al. in their Research Article (e202310505). The collected oxyen‐containing aromatic plastic wastes such as bottles, key boards, cloth fibers, etc., are first sorted and washed by machine to ensure that these plastic wastes are pure enough to be chemically recycled. Then the sorted plastic wastes or their mixture are processed by HDO reaction over a catalytic system comprised of Ru‐ReOx/SiO2 and HZSM‐5. |
