Zusammenfassung:Sestyc is a social media application released in 2019. This application provides many features that allow users to interact with other users. Through observations made on user reviews on Google Playstore and explorations carried out on the application, it is known that there are several problems that indicate the application has not met the Usability error and satisfaction parameters. So, it is necessary to evaluate the UI/UX on the Sestyc application to find further problems related to usability using the Think Aloud and Heuristic methods. These two methods are used to obtain more accurate evaluation results and ensure that no problems are missed by using one of them. The results of the evaluation were found 48 total problems with 30 different types of problems using the Think Aloud method, and 60 total problems found with 31 different types of problems using the Heuristic method. The results from the combined methods are 40 types of issues, with 21 types of the same issues found in both methods. In this study, we provide some recommendations to overcome the problems for improving the application’s usability. The research presents 23 suggestions for UI and 12 recommendations for UX improvement. An important finding in this study is that errors in account creation are the main priority for application improvement.
