Zusammenfassung: | Using the linearized theory of elasticity, we solve the plane contact problem of the transfer of a horizontal concentrated load from an inhomogeneous infinite, in both directions, stringer with initial (residual) stresses to two identical strips clamped on one edge. The analysis is carried out in a general form using the theory of large initial deformations and different theories of small initial deformations for an arbitrary elastic potential. The problem for the normal and tangential contact stresses is reduced to a system of recurrent integro-differential equations, which is solved using Fourier integral transform. In the result, the contact stresses are represented by Fourier integrals. The initial stresses in the elastic strips lead to a significant change in the distribution of the contact stresses. The contact stresses significantly decrease under compression and increase under tension, while the displacements increase significantly under compression and decrease under tension. The initial (residual) stresses have a more significant quantitative effect on highly elastic materials compared to stiffer materials. The qualitative effect is of similar nature. |
