Zusammenfassung:Image denoising is a very important part of image processing. Denoising is utilized in a variety of fields and applications, including medicine, satellite television, and computer vision. Recently, several methods and approaches proposed to improve image denoising. This paper proposes an Enhanced Median Filter (EMF) for minimizing noise specifically salt and pepper noising. The proposed EMF uses standard median filter (MF) conditions. EMF improved the standard MF method, to restore the grey values of damaged pixels. The proposed method filters out noisy pixels by replacing the new values found by the median filter in the same image. As a result, EMF outperforms both the standard median filter and the Comprehensive Median Filter in terms of performance (CMF). The suggested method was evaluated on a range of standard images from the MATLAB library. According to the findings, the proposed method outperforms the standard median filter for high-noise images.
