Zusammenfassung:This study was conducted with the aim of reducing the level of injury in the organization of the engineering industry. The analysis of the existing situation of research and solutions to reduce the level of injuries at work is carried out. On its basis, the need to search and select an effective method for assessing professional risks was identified. The analysis of modern methods for assessing professional risk, their categories and classifications. The chosen method for assessing professional risk, suitable for conducting in the studied organization - decision matrix risk-assessment. The paper sets out the necessary criteria for using this method of assessing professional risk. Based on the analysis, it was found that the decision matrix risk-assessment is an effective method for assessing occupational risk in the studied organization.
