Zusammenfassung: | The experiment was carried out at the Fish Laboratory, University of Duhok, Iraq. 120 commoncarp Cyprinus carpio L. individuals of were used in this study. Four groups were organized (T1 –negative control, T2 – positive control, supplemented with 50 mg/kg pure inulin, T3 – supplementedwith 25 gm/kg germinated wheat, and T4 – supplemented with 50 gm/kg germinated wheat). Thegreen parts of germinated wheat were cut, dried, and crushed as a powder to be used as feed supplements. The highest values of the weight gain, daily weight gain, and relative growth rate, andlower feed efficiency ratio, protein and fat efficiency ratio are reported in group T2. In groups T3 andT4 an increase in organic matter (%) is reported. Crude ash (%) was higher in all treatments whencompared to T2. In groups T2 and T3 high in crude protein (%) is reported. Hepatic Index, IntestineLength-Weight Index, aspartate aminotransferase (AST, IU), and microflorae counts in each of muscles and intestine recorded the highest values in group T2. Hemoglobin (Hb, g/L), glucose, cholesterol and triglyceride recorded the highest values in group T4. In all experimental groups (T2 –T4) are reported higher erythrocyte counts (RBC, 1012/L) compared to control. The corpuscularhemoglobin concentration (MCHC, %) recorded the highest values in groups T3 and T4. For theplatelets counts (109/L) the highest values are reported in control (T1) and in experimental group T4. The highest value of high-density lipoprotein (HDL, mg/dl) is reported in control. The highest values of low-density lipoproteins (LDL, mg/dL) are reported in control and experimental group T2. Concerning albumin/globulin ratio, significant differences are reported in both control and experimental groups. |
