show that the metal in this compound is connected to the macrocycle due to the bidentate coordination of oxygen atoms of cucurbit[6]uril portals to lanthanide(III) cations, leading to the formation of a cationic complex. In the crystal, the [{Ln(H

O)

}

(CB[6])]
6+
cations are interconnected by a system of hydrogen bonds. Compounds

are isostructural. The studied compounds are characterized by IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric and elemental analyses, X-ray powder diffraction, and luminescence spectroscopy. |
