Zusammenfassung:The authors report the results of a phenomenological study to determine how otherfathering by Black men affects and the potential implications for their mental health. Using interpretative phenomenological analysis, the men reported that otherfathering is rewarding (i.e., internally and externally) and challenging, which has a direct influence on their mental health. Recommendations for counseling practice are provided.
