[...]MSCs must have the ability to differentiate in vitro into adipocytes, chondroblasts and osteoblasts.2 Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer worldwide and it accounts for one third of all the cancer-related deaths.3 Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) accounts for the majority of all the lung cancer cases and can be further classified into three types: squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma and large cell carcinoma.4 Out of the three types, adenocarcinoma is the most common type of lung cancer as it comprises around 40% of all lung cancers.
