Zusammenfassung:Removal of particles from the DC field showed very high removal efficiency for large particle, and the smaller the particle size, the lower the removal efficiency. Therefore, the proportion of small particles increased towards the rear end of the electric dust collector. The CMD of the initially injected particles was shown to be approximately 0.7 μm, but the CMD was lowered to 0.5 μm at the rear end of the DC field. As a result of the application of the AC field, the reciprocating motion of the particles occurred, and because the behavior of the large particles was relatively greater than that of the small particles, the CMD in the AC field increased from 0.5 to 0.7 μm. Compared to the mist-based particle aggregation, the agglomeration rate was similar. The behavior of these particles was confirmed by CFD, and the reciprocating distance of the particles with a size of 0.3 μm was 0.37 mm, whereas the reciprocating distance of the particles with a size of 30 μm was 43.06 mm.
